Come on Bill. It's Dice. You know that they know that Europeans are the only real people to ask about games. I mean had they listened to us spoiled, rich, and opinionated Americans then BF2 would have never been the shining example of how a game should work and update.

So I bet all the Europeans are getting all of the free keys because socialist mindsets are a much better tool for debugging games.

Dice: How's it play.

Socialists: Laggy.

Dice: Shut up and like it.

Socialists: We hate America.

Stupid socialists.

I'm surprised as many of you are still supporting these games and pre ordering them and worse yet.. when they are released you play them for days/weeks and months on end. If it is all shit and you dont like the game or the people who make it why do all of you continue to buy them? and suport the same company/company's you all are bitching about?

Exactly. That is why I try not to purchase anything "digital", it just appears.

Nah. Tried that RB. All I got out of it was a bunch of junk mail from them. I've pretty much lost interest anyway. It doesn't sound that good from the people who have been able to try it.
I watched my kid play it on xbox for a while. Laggy and it seems like the maps are about 50 times the size of the COD maps. You need all the damn vehicles to avoid the 20 minute hike to the other side of the map. Also very difficult to see any other players. I heard that from some of the PC beta people too.

I tried a round yesterday for the first time. Its Battlefield. Big maps, guns that shoot like guns, vehicles, no AI killing you every 2 sec, no retarded fast knife bullshit, squad play is back and better than in BF2. Game played smooth on Max's machine, no excessive lag. He is still running XP so it was in DX9 but looked great playing at 1080p. There was a few things that i found odd, no health bar, no prone. Nothing game breaking just different.

The destructible environments are great. Was hiding in a group of tree with the squad when a tank shell hit the face of the hill right below us. A few of the trees we were hiding behind fell down, was very cool to see for the first time.

I am still looking forward to the full game. Unless your really hung up on all the bullshit in CoD I can't see any of you not liking this. Once you get used to shooting guns that have bullet time and recoil you will be fine. Hell i went 6 and 6 on my first map and have not played a FPS in a few months.

No fast knifing? wtf! I understand the bs about throwing knives. But in RL if I'm close enough to stab you then I'm close enough to do it fast. I'm not buying it now. YOU KNOW WHY!

No not because of the knifing.

Because my machine was built January 2004 and has a 9800 Pro. That's why!

SEND ME MONEY!

I need a new rig.

I canceled my pre-order from Gamestop. I'm thinking of keeping my pre-order from Steam on the outside chance the full game has a good infantry map. Or maybe the vehicles are better in another map. If this is the best map this game has to offer I'm gonna say this game sucks right now. It might be ok if they fix the shitty sniper sight and you snipe all map long. Check this video I made with Fraps. Dylan says the blurry shit in the scope is not in the 360 version.

Here's some dude. This should really give you a feel. Glad the blurry shit isn't just my PC.

About 3 minutes into that video I really stopped noticing the edge blur from the scope. I'm with you on the why is it necessary to have it front though. I've still yet to see choppers in the game. Is there choppers? Are they bad ass?

For the record, I never played with you guys on Sunday morning Coffee and DC. My ass does not get up that early on Sunday and at the time, I didn't have a rig that could handle DC.
