Wife won a PS3 at her company xmas party Have played and beat both God of War 1 & 2 (the ps3 chronicles edition). Bought uncharted 1, ratchet and clank (1st ps3 one), little big planet, and metal gear solid 4.

Basically if I have the choice I prefer the xbox interface (been using it longer) and especially the controller. I also have really grown to like the xbox game achievement system though I do not try to go to far out of my way.

Yeah same here man, I actually enjoy the controller for 360 over the PS dual shock. It takes a few days of gaming to get used to at first but it's way easier (game controls willing) to play with.

Unless you're using a game that is better with the D-Pad. 360's D-pad fckn blows. Street Fighter 4 would be so much easier to play on PS3.

Nobody uses the D-pad cept maybe for quick weapon swaps.

Yeah because pulling off a Sho-Ryu-Ken is so easy with the thumb stick on one of those controllers. They may not require you use the D-pad, but it makes it 10,000 times easier to play the game with it.

so why does one D-pad suck more than the other then? They both look pretty the same other than the locations are somewhat different, and it's easier to do diagonal moves on 360.

360's D-pad would be better if it was built better. But it's not. Google that shit. All sorts of people have the same complaint that I do.
